What happens during a colonic?
During a colonic irrigation session, you will lie on a table while a therapist inserts a tube into your rectum. Warm water or an herbal solution is then passed through the tube and into your colon. The therapist will massage your abdomen to help the water move through your colon. You may need to go to the bathroom during the session to release the water and waste.
